Over the last two decades, Livingbridge has been a leading investor in Technology Service Providers (TSPs) across cloud, cyber, connectivity, communications and technology consultancies. In total we have made 16 investments and learned what good looks like. We are looking for:
- A clear strategic narrative around a disruptive proposition – not just more of the same;
- Management teams who understand that outstanding customer service is a core differentiator;
- A focus on culture, talent acquisition and retention;
- High quality of earnings and recurring or repeatable revenues;
- A proven sales engine that consistently acquires customers in chosen segments; and
- A technology strategy that joins up market to product roadmap.
Most of our investments in this market combine organic growth alongside a buy and build strategy. The sizeable markets that our TSPs play in are typically fragmented and there is arbitrage available in buying well.
We are looking to back ambitious entrepreneurs from either positions of minority or majority.
How we can help you
The majority of our TSP investees benefit most from our M&A support and experience. In total we have supported our portfolio to acquire over 27 targets. We have an internal team that works alongside our portfolio to support in the identification of targets and then we work hard to support on execution.
In addition, given how many times we have been on this journey in the last 20 years, we can add real value in helping think through the strategic pinch points as TSPs scale, notably around management build out and getting the systems in the right shape to accommodate rapid growth.
This remains a core investment area for Livingbridge and we’re excited to continue to back innovative, market making propositions, products and platforms.
