This award recognises private equity deals involving a target company headquartered in the UK and exited in 2019, with an entry EV of €25m-€200m. It was awarded to Livingbridge for the sale of Sykes Holiday Cottages, the UK’s leading independent holiday home provider, to private equity firm Vitruvian Partners.
Livingbridge first invested in Sykes Cottages in January 2015, at which time the business managed 5,000 properties in the UK and Ireland and generated £17m revenue. At the time of exit, the business managed over 17,500 properties, having delivered market leading organic growth, and completed 12 acquisitions underpinned by a highly effective digital transformation strategy.
Wol Kolade, Managing Partner, says: “We are thrilled to have won this award, which is a testament to the hard work of our talented team and our refined growth acceleration strategy. Since this exit, we have been afforded the opportunity to reinvest in Sykes and are now delighted to be working closely with the business to support it during the next chapter of its growth journey.”
