Legal & compliance

“As legal counsel, I get to work with talented people from across the Livingbridge platform, its portfolio of companies and the private equity advisory community – it’s a uniquely rewarding role.”

My job is varied and no two days are ever the same. I provide transactional support to the investment team, help the value strategy team with portfolio company matters and provide legal advice to the business generally.

Prior to starting at Livingbridge, I spent 11 years as a private practice corporate lawyer. I spent 8 years at Travers Smith, where I advised private equity sponsors, corporates, entrepreneurs, founders and management teams on a broad range of private equity-related M&A transactions. I also spent one year as general counsel at private equity-backed clothing brand MUSTO (on a placement arranged by Travers Smith) and 2 years in the corporate real estate team at Goodwin Procter. I graduated from Durham University with a degree in Business Economics and completed my post graduate legal studies at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice.

Outside of work I enjoy running, skiing, fly-fishing, playing golf and spending time with my family. As my children are still young, however, I get to enjoy one of the aforementioned pastimes far more than any of the others right now!
