Value Strategy Group
“I feel extremely fortunate to work alongside a wide range of aspirational management teams that are constantly striving to develop their businesses and create a better experience for their customers”
My role in the Value Strategy Group at Livingbridge is to be a supportive partner to management teams; helping to enable them to develop and refine their strategy, and navigate the complexities of making this strategy a reality. It’s a joy to be able to work with a team for many years, building a strong relationship and seeing them succeed through both the good and challenging times.
I graduated from The University of Cambridge with a Masters in Manufacturing Engineering – a course with a focus on practical placements that solved real business problems rather than plain theory. Since then I have worked almost exclusively with high growth businesses. First as a strategy consultant at Strategic Analytics, where I spent three years working with PE investors and portfolio companies to develop growth strategies across the US and Europe. Then in the Commercial Team at ECI Partners working post deal to support management with practical strategic, operational and people initiatives that drove top and bottom-line growth.
In these roles, I got to experience many different changing markets and competitive dynamics and see how business successfully navigated them. I take real pleasure in being able to learn from the businesses that I work with and apply that knowledge to another business model and market to share best practice and potential pitfalls.
In my spare time, you can normally find me in the countryside exploring a new area, in the air trying to keep my pilots licence current or enjoying a good meal with friends.
