I work with companies across our investment period, right through to the eventual exit. I enjoy the variety and the pace; every day really is different.

One of the best parts of my job is working with a team to help figure out the right strategy to deliver sustainable growth. A great example of this was Nexus, a tech-enabled vehicle rental platform that we backed in 2008 when it was making just over £1million EBITDA. Two acquisitions and seven years of organic growth later it had grown into the largest independent value added technology provider in the UK vehicle hire market, recognised as a strategically important player within its industry, and occupied a highly defendable market position driven out of deep customer and supplier relationships combined with market leading technology.

I graduated from Warwick having studied history before training as an accountant at KPMG. Post qualification I moved into its transaction services department where I spent three years advising private equity and corporate clients on due diligence and strategic option development across a wide variety of transactions. This experience gave me the opportunity to get a detailed understanding of the drivers of growth and success in a business.

Outside of work I love getting out of London and spending time as a family either out walking or even better horseriding.
