Gilly Green is crowned ‘Leading Individual Advisor’ and Sionic is commended for Management Consultancy and Client Lifecycle Management Solution

Gilly Green, Sionic Managing Partner and Head of Wealth Management & Private Banking has won ‘Leading Individual (Advisor)’ at The Ninth Annual WealthBriefing European Awards 2021.

Sionic has also been highly commended in both the ‘Management Consultancy’ and ‘Client Lifecycle Management Solution’ categories.

Showcasing ‘best of breed’ in European wealth management, the WealthBriefing awards are designed to recognise outstanding organisations, grouped by specialism and geography, which the prestigious panel of independent judges deemed to have ‘demonstrated innovation and excellence during the last year’.

The ‘Leading Individual Advisor’ category is particularly highly contested, with a small group of finalists and commended submissions chosen from a large pool of entrants before an ultimate winner is selected by the judges. It is this rigorous process of peer and industry assessment that makes the WealthBriefing awards so highly prized.

Commenting on Gilly Green as a “stand-out individual and nomination”, the judges said:

“Our winner has built industry practice from scratch over many years and delivered exceptional client service and growth in 2020. Highly supportive client references attest to her industry knowledge, team leadership and focus on delivering actual change and positive outcomes to clients.”

The judges also commended Gilly’s entire Wealth Management & Private Banking team for their approach to client service, and in particular for their efforts in “stepping up in response to COVID”.

The judges went on to praise Sionic’s Client Lifecyle Management Solution entry, commending Sionic’s rules engine, ‘truth tables’ and API linkages to public and private data sources. The judges said

“Sionic’s Client Risk Assessment Simulator sounds really powerful and their emphasis on allowing KYC experts to focus on unverified data and the identification of real risk is impressive.”

Gilly Green said

“My thanks to everyone who judged these awards, to my clients and most of all to my team – I am honoured to be their leader. When I founded the original Wealth Management & Private Banking Practice back in 2011, I would have been so proud to know that a decade later, we are part of a global firm serving an international client base, with a team of industry-leading wealth management and private banking specialists – and a gender balance of 50% in my team; still a rare feat in our sector. I’m excited to see what the next decade brings!”

Sionic CEO Craig Sher added

“Gilly is an outstanding leader who combines technical expertise, project and people expertise. And we are celebrating not only Gilly’s outright win but also added prestigious recognition for her entire team and for our innovative approach to Client Lifecycle Management, developed in close collaboration with our colleagues Pino Vallejo and Jenny Tatum. I could not be more proud of what Gilly and the whole of Sionic achieve, together.”

ClearView Financial Media’s CEO, and Publisher of WealthBriefing, Stephen Harris, was first to extend his congratulations to all the winners. He said:

“The organisations and individuals who triumphed in these awards are all worthy winners, and I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to the winners and to those who have put so much work into each winning submission. These awards were independently and expertly judged solely on the basis of entrants’ submissions and their response to a number of specific questions, which were answered by focusing on the client experience rather than purely quantitative performance metrics. That is a unique, and I believe, compelling feature. These awards recognise the very best operators in European wealth management, with ‘independence’, ‘integrity’ and ‘genuine insight’ the watchwords of the judging process – such that the awards truly reflect excellence in European wealth management.”
