Livingbridge is pleased to announce the successful exit of digital-first media agency, Brainlabs as they receive new investment from Falfurrias Capital Partners.

Founded in 2012, Brainlabs partnered with Livingbridge in 2019 to help realise their plan to build a complete international data driven digital media offering. Over the past four years, we have supported the team through eight acquisitions and growth into new markets, most notably their rapid expansion in the US. This expansion is recognised in turnover which at the time of our investment was £12m and has significantly grown to £90m today. Furthermore, we have seen the team grow from 206 employees at the time of our initial investment to 850 today.

Brainlabs’ industry leading proposition set allows it to deliver better outcomes for clients, validated by their impressive client roster which now includes the likes of Estée Lauder, Capital One, Mars and adidas.

Livingbridge Investor, Vernan Richards, commented: “We’re thrilled with what we have been able to achieve alongside the management team at Brainlabs over the past four years; entering new markets, and further strengthening their proposition through M&A and team growth. We wish the team every success in the next stage of their journey to become the world’s largest independent media agency.”

Daniel Gilbert, Brainlabs Founder and CEO said: “The support we have received from Livingbridge over the past four years has been instrumental in Brainlabs’ expansion as we move towards becoming the biggest media agency in the world.”

Livingbridge and Brainlabs were advised by Canaccord Genuity.
