Language Line is a translation services provider to the public and private sectors. Livingbridge invested in Language Line in 2003 in a management buy out. Following Livingbridge’s investment and additions to the management team, including the introduction of Livingbridge operating partner, Ian Williamson, as chairman, Language Line Inc approached Livingbridge with an offer. Language Line was sold to LLI, the leading telephone interpretation provider in the US, in 2005.
I’ve run the business alongside my brother Michael since the beginning and following Livingbridge’s investment the business has taken a huge leap forward. The last few years has seen us complete on three transformative acquisitions; we’ve also made significant advancements in our technology development in order to deliver better service levels to our clients, and we’ve consistently delivered on our international growth aspirations too.
