We are pleased to announce that Adarma, one of the largest independent cyber security services companies in the UK, has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer

John Maynard joins from Cisco, the leading provider of IT, networking and cybersecurity solutions, where he served as VP of its Global Security Specialists Group. He will assume his role at Adarma at the end of November, taking over from current CEO David Calder, who will be taking on the role of Chief Product Officer.

John will be responsible for expanding Adarma’s footprint in the cyber security market – both within the UK, and internationally across the US and Europe. He will also take a lead role in growing the firm’s range of service offerings; providing increasingly innovative end-to-end security solutions for its range of blue-chip clients.

With many years working in the global cyber security industry under his belt, John brings a wealth of experience to the table. Prior to Cisco, he worked at DXC Technology as Chief Operating Officer and VP of Product Management for Cybersecurity, and also held leadership positions at Hewlett Packard, where he worked for over 11 years.

Matt Jacobs at Livingbridge, commented:

“We are thrilled to welcome John to Adarma, and look forward to working with him and the wider team moving forwards. His unrivalled skillset and expertise make him a valuable addition to the company and Livingbridge’s portfolio more broadly. We have every confidence that he will be able to continue the brilliant work done by David Calder, and successfully lead the team in its mission to build a business of real scale in the growing cyber security market.”
