The annual awards are judged on a regional basis and acknowledge extraordinary companies backed by private equity and venture capital funds.
The award recognises companies that have built an attractive, distinctive business within their sector; can demonstrate skilled execution of particular projects, such as product innovation and international expansion; exhibit bold and authentic leadership, including development of a strong, progressive culture; and can evidence overall growth including profit growth and returns on exit.
Jens Pedersen, CEO at Efficio, accepted the award on behalf of the company at the BVCA Chairwoman’s Dinner held last night.
“The management team of Efficio are strong advocates of private equity backing, having experienced first-hand the positive impact Livingbridge has had on our own growth trajectory. They have been strong sparring partners, working with us to help us achieve our global ambitions, enhance our managed services offering and develop exciting new procurement technologies. With a shared vision and the right cultural fit, the possibilities of what can be achieved with equity backing are immeasurable – and this award is testament to that.”
Liz Jones at Livingbridge added:
“This award is a testament to the hard work of the team who have developed Efficio into a truly global business, offering innovative new technologies and maintaining first class customer service. It has been a privilege to have been part of their fantastic growth story since our investment in 2016 and we look forward to exciting times ahead for the business.”
