Kirona, which helps organisations to deliver exceptional field-based services in the most cost-effective way possible, has been nominated for its work with North Lanarkshire Council’s housing repairs and health and social care teams. It has simplified the way field workers manage their workload and has had a positive impact on end-users who rely on the council workers for vital home care visits and housing repairs.
Since implementing Kirona’s technology, the council has seen a 20% increase in the productivity of its home care team, a 15% reduction in costs of delivering services, home repairs teams have seen a dramatic reduction in no-access rates, dropping from 40% to just 3%, and their post-implementation survey revealed the workforce favour the new software solution, with over 1000 responses rating the solution 4.8 out of 5.
The National Technology Awards are the showcase for the leaders of technology and were created to allow the technology sector to shine, celebrating the pioneers of new technology and encouraging excellence.
The winners will be determined by an independent judging panel and announced at the National Technology Awards Gala and Dinner on 17 May 2017 at the Millennium Hotel London Mayfair.
