The list of the fastest growing companies in Britain featured short-haul beach holiday provider loveholidays in the number one spot; B2B internet service provider M247 coming in at number 57, and signature software provider Exclaimer featured as one of only 10 rising stars in their ones to watch guide.
One of loveholidays' unique selling point is its proprietary ‘discovery search’ tech, which provides the functionality to select a holiday by cost, type of trip, and temperature as well as by location. As stated in the guide, the business has grown off this insight that holdaymakers are more concerned by what they do rather than by where they go. The nearly 300-strong company posted annual profit growth of 190.96 per cent, securing it the top spot. The company reportedly sold more than £500m worth of holidays in 2018, following our investment last year.
The guide noted that internet and cloud services provider, M247, which came in at number 57, has grown significantly in recent years following our investment in 2016. The business, originally called Metronet, has made two transformational acquisitions in that time, including internet hosting and cloud firm M247 and Venus Business Communications.
Livingbridge investee Exclaimer also featured in the Profit Track's Ones to Watch guide, which seeks to identify British firms that have either had or predict good profit growth, with selection criteria looking at the strength of their management, the challenges they have overcome, innovation, past growth and future prospects. Good luck to Exclaimer as an overall winner from the ten finalists will be chosen by a panel later this month.
Congratulations to all three firms that made this prestigious list and are great examples of the hard work of the entrepeneurs that we are lucky enough to work with.
