Investment team

“The best part of my job is learning about new businesses, understanding what makes them tick and thinking about how Livingbridge can help them on their journey.”

My role in the new investment team is to identify and invest in great businesses. We build strong working partnerships with management teams to help them achieve their growth ambitions.

My Dad started his own business when I was 10 years old, so I spent my formative years seeing the journey of an entrepreneurial company in real time. I’m fortunate enough to regularly meet entrepreneurs and management teams and hear their stories.

I studied Economics at Cambridge University, where I played a lot of rugby, learned a lot about obscure economic models and didn’t learn a lot about how businesses work in real life. After graduating, I wanted to work with a range of companies, and learn about different business models and industries. I joined Strategy& (part of the PwC network), where I helped businesses with strategy development, and worked with investors to help them understand the commercial aspects of potential investments.

Away from work, I enjoy anything that keeps me active, whether it’s squash, (touch) rugby, running or weightlifting. On a quieter day, I’m equally happy doing a crossword with a glass of wine.
