Baker of remarkable biscuits
Thomas Fudge’s was founded in 1916 and originally delivered freshly baked bread to the West Country farming community by horse and cart. Today, the company’s biscuits, crackers and florentines are stocked by supermarkets including Waitrose, Tesco, Morrisons and Marks & Spencer, as well as retailers like Fortnum & Mason and Harvey Nichols.
When we first came across the business, it was still run by the Fudge family 100 years on. We invested to enable Paul Vita and Vickie Best, who worked with Fudge’s as commercial and operations directors, to take over the business as joint managing directors. We also worked with Thomas Fudge’s to strengthen the management team and revamp their brand.
We’ve enjoyed working with the team at Thomas Fudge’s over the last few years, helping to strengthen the management team and revamp the brand last year. We think the brand has enormous potential and wish them well as they embark on the next stage of their growth journey.
We’re really excited about becoming part of the Burton’s family as we enter our next phase of development as a business and would like to thank Livingbridge for their support in our growth in recent years.
