Doubling profitability and communicating vision
  • From investment to exit RLA doubled its profitability, expanded geographically and developed its range of marketing services. At the time of investment Roland Long, chief executive of RLA Media, said, “Livingbridge immediately saw the importance of RLA Media’s offering and brought an in depth understanding of the sector. They had the vision, in what is generally a difficult time for marketing services, to see the strength of RLA and the opportunities going forward.”
  • The founder Roland Long retired in 2004 following a founder succession programme.
  • In 2007 RLA was sold to The Mission Marketing Group PLC, the UK’s largest national group of creative communications agencies outside of London employing over 950 people in over 24 offices across the UK plus offices in Shanghai, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and San Francisco.
