Streamlining growth
  • We invested in 2014 in order to support the business to enhance and develop its product suite for clients within both private and public sectors, to penetrate those markets further and to expand its services into new sector verticals.
  • In 2017, Kirona expanded its client base through securing contracts with prominent businesses including utilities services provider Morrison’s Data Services and multinational infrastructure group Balfour Beatty.
  • We worked with Kirona to support the development of additional complementary IP to sell into its existing 350+ customer base and to support further expansion into new verticals including local & central government, utilities & infrastructure and retail. This included the development of a new workflow management solution launched in early 2019.
  • In 2019, we successfully sold Kirona to Advanced, a provider of business software and services, after 4 years of considerable growth and significant milestones. The sale generated a gross return of 3.1x to investors, reflecting the business’ position as an industry leader in its field.
