Having been at Livingbridge since 2002, I have so many great memories, it’s hard to choose just one! The Reed & Mackay journey was amazing, inspiring and enjoyable – we worked with Richard, Tracy and the team to build this travel management business from its family routes to being a standout professional firm in its sector whilst retaining that culture based on family values that delivers outstanding service to clients. We sold our stake in Reed & Mackay as part of a secondary buyout but remain in touch with the team today and are thrilled that the business is continuing to do so well today under the auspices of a tertiary buyout.
I am an engineering graduate and work highlights include being 8,000 ft underground in a gold mine, galvanizing nuts and bolts for the rail industry or selling semi-conductors. After a spell in consulting with KPMG I moved into private equity in 2000, before joining Livingbridge in 2002 to open the Manchester office.
When I’m not at work you will find me either near a rugby pitch, watching or refereeing or out walking in the hills, often with the dogs, listening to podcasts.
