We're delighted to welcome portfolio manager, Graeme Bencke, to the Livingbridge Equity Funds team.

Graeme joins from PineBridge Investments, where he ran a number of equity strategies – including the group’s strongly-performing Global Focus Equity Fund. A former Royal Air Force pilot, Bencke has also held roles at Killik & Co and F&C Asset Management – where he ran the European small-cap equity portfolio.

Bencke will work alongside Ken Wotton and Brendan Gulston, co-managers of the LF Livingbridge UK Micro Cap Fund and the LF Livingbridge UK Multi Cap Income Fund.

Launched in May 2009, the LF Livingbridge UK Micro Cap Fund has delivered a return of 132.50% over a 5 year period to 31 August 2018, against 85.58% for the IA UK Smaller Companies sector.¹ Launched at the end of June 2017, the LF Livingbridge UK Multi Cap is ranked 1 out of 87 funds in the IA UK Equity Income sector over the last 12 months, according to Financial Express, delivering a return of 16.24% year to 31st August 2018 versus 4.07% average sector performance.²

Please note reference to past performance should not be viewed as a reliable indicator of how the investments will perform in the future.

Graeme comments: “Livingbridge has proven itself to be a leader in UK smaller company investing and it is great to join such a highly-regarded team. The team’s focus on deep fundamental research is aligned with my philosophy on investing and I look forward to working alongside Ken and Brendan on the Livingbridge strategies.

Ken Wotton adds: “We are pleased to welcome Graeme to the Livingbridge team. He is an experienced manager who has built up a tremendous track record over many years. Graeme has proven to have the qualities necessary to unearth attractive opportunities from the specialist small-cap space and will be a great addition to our team.”
